2. Organisation status

SRF Research and Training Centres (SRF-RTC) is a non-profit research organisation based in Mbarara City, Uganda, committed to advancing Africa’s development through research, innovation and capacity building. Although independent, SRF-RTC operates alongside Soar Research Foundation (SRF), a Contract Research Organization that began as a grassroots consultancy in 2010 and was formally incorporated in 2019.

3. Registration details

SRF Research and Training Centres Ltd is registered on SAM.gov with Unique Entity ID KF4CERE5M9W1, enabling it to receive United States federal research grants (for example from the NIH). Ugandan company registration and tax identification details are available on request from the operator at the contact address above.

4. Research governance

Consultations hosted on this Platform are conducted under SRF-RTC research governance, grants management guidelines and standard operating procedures. Members of our team serve on ethics committees and national research fora. Studies requiring ethical clearance are approved by the relevant Research Ethics Committee and, where applicable, the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology.

5. Liability for content

As a service provider, SRF-RTC is responsible for its own content on this Platform in accordance with general laws. We are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information. Upon becoming aware of a specific legal violation, we will remove such content promptly.
